Several hospitals currently use Manag-E's solutions to manage processes within hospital administration and operations, both IT processes and other processes. Implementing new processes is easy, and results in new functionality that is readily available to everyone. But it can be limited by access rights so that information cannot go astray.

In collaboration with the Finnish company Flovio , we have imported solutions that are used by a number of Finnish healthcare organizations, both at local (municipal) and central (hospital) level. The applications also cover the interaction between the levels, e.g. when transferring patients between hospitals and municipal services such as nursing homes and home care.

Solution (process) areas:

  • Elderly care: Assessment of service needs, placement needs, etc.

  • Mental health: Diagnostic processes, rehabilitation.

  • Logistics: Patient logistics in hospitals, and to and from hospitals.

Common to all Flovio applications is that they are implemented using the Solutions Business Manager (SBM) process engine from OpenText. Customizing/changing the application is done with configuration rather than programming - both in terms of data (tables and columns) and screens (forms).
