Privacy policy

Who we are

This website belongs to Manag-E Nordic AS with its subsidiary Manag-E Sverige AB. Our website addresses are: http://managenordic.no and https://managenordic.se.

This privacy policy explains how Manag-E collects and uses personal data.

Manag-E Nordic AS, represented by the general manager, is responsible for the company's processing of personal data. Where day-to-day responsibility has been delegated, this is stated under each individual point. This statement contains information you are entitled to when information is collected from our website.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Web statistics

Manag-E collects anonymized information about visitors to the websites that Manag-E operates. The purpose of this is to see if users find the information they are looking for, what kind of information users are looking for. This is used to improve the websites and as a basis for statistics.

The data is processed in de-identified and aggregated form. De-identified means that we cannot trace the information we collect back to the individual user. We collect the entire IP address, but the IP address is de-identified so that only the first three groups in the address are used to generate statistics.

Information cookies

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze how users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website, including your IP address, will be transmitted to Google and stored on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other information held by Google.

Our website uses Google Analytics to analyze the use of the website. We receive information about which pages are most visited, where users come from, at what times the pages are most visited, etc.

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer when you download a website.

Storage of information and processing of this information is not permitted unless the user has both been informed of and has given their consent to the processing. The user must be informed of and approve what information is being processed, what the purpose of the processing is and who is processing the information, cf. Section 2-7b of the Electronic Communications Act.

Comments on articles and posts

When visitors post comments on the site, the information provided in the comment form is stored in addition to the IP address of the visitor and the visitor's browser version. This is done to help avoid frivolous comments.

An anonymous text string generated on the basis of your email address (also called a "hash") may be sent to the Gravatar service to investigate whether you have an account there. Gravatar's privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be visible to anyone in connection with your comment.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this page may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the website from which the embedded content originates.

These websites may collect information about you, use cookies or embed third-party tracking systems and monitor what you do via this embedded content. This includes tracking your actions through the embedded content if you have an account and are logged into the website.

Newsletters

Manag-E sends out newsletters up to once a month via e-mail. In order for us to send emails, you must register an email address. MailChimp is the data processor for the newsletter. The e-mail address is stored in a separate database, is not shared with others and is deleted when you unsubscribe. The email address is also deleted if we receive feedback that it is not active. Consent to be on this list is valid for three years. After this, we will ask you for a new consent.

Other processing of personal information

Case management and archive

Manag-E uses PipeDrive, Service Management Automation X (SMAX) and email as case management systems. Information sent to Manag-E's email addresses is used for case management. It is voluntary to submit personal data for such inquiries. The email addresses are stored and used only to answer the inquiry. Special security measures and routines have been established for highly protective information in the archive, such as sensitive personal data to the extent that they occur. Manag-E never asks for such information.

E-mail and telephone

Manag-E uses e-mail and telephone as part of its daily work. Each employee is responsible for the day-to-day processing of personal data received in e-mails and telephone calls.

Manag-E also uses e-mail in general dialog with internal and external contacts. The individual is responsible for deleting messages that are no longer relevant, and at least once a year review and delete unnecessary content in the mailbox. Upon resignation, email accounts are deleted after one month, but some relevant emails will normally be transferred to colleagues.

Sensitive personal data should not be sent by e-mail.

Please note that regular e-mail is unencrypted. You are therefore encouraged not to send confidential, sensitive or other confidential information by e-mail.

Information about employees

Manag-E processes personal data about its employees in order to administer salaries and personnel responsibilities. The general manager has the daily responsibility for this. Necessary information is registered for the payment of salaries, such as basic data, salary level, time registration, tax percentage, tax municipality and union affiliation. Other information about employees relates to their work instructions and the organization of their work.

Information about access management in the IT systems is also registered. The information is collected from the employees themselves. The information is only disclosed in connection with salary payments and other statutory disclosures. Deletion routines for personnel data follow the Accounting Act and the Archives Act. Information about name, position and work area is considered to be public information and can be published on Manag-E's website.

All job applications with attachments are processed and stored until the employment process is completed. These are then shredded.

Logging in IT professional systems

Manag-E has general security logs in its specialist systems. It is the employees' use of the specialist system that is registered here. No further information is provided here for the sake of the security of our systems.

Who we share your information with

Information from users is not shared with any other organizations, but statistics about the use of the pages can be shared or published. Inquiries via support@managenordic and via SMAX may be shared with the relevant software or service provider.

How long we keep information about you

If you leave a comment, the comment and information about the comment will be stored indefinitely. This is so that we can recognize follow-up comments and approve them automatically rather than queuing them up for manual approval by an editor.

For users who register on this website (if this possibility exists), personal data that they provide in their user profile is also stored. All users can view, edit and delete their own personal data at any time (except for usernames). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.
